About the line:
AGAVE HEALING OIL is nature’s miracle healing answer for all hair types. It smooths frizz, tames volume, controls curls, and polishes dry, dull-looking hair.
Derived from Mexico’s “Blue Webber” agave plant, Agave’s amino sugars lock moisture inside the hair, building strength, resiliency, and elasticity. These plant sugars also help improve manageability while helping retain vibrancy and lengthening color life.
Other natural botanicals like coconut, vanilla, sunflower, and safflower are blended with Madagascar baobab seed oil to nourish and transform hair’s outer layer.
Ingredients and what they do:
Agave Sugars: Hydrate and moisturize.
Wheat Proteins: Add strength and shine.
Vanilla and Coconut: Help condition and increase elasticity.
Madagascar Baobab Seed Oil: Nourishes and transforms hair’s outer layer.

Review:
I don't usually get excited about shampoo but the Agave line is AMAZING. Since I started using it, my hair has incredible shine, smooth texture and improved manageability. I personally have never experienced a product that gives me so much shine without making my hair greasy/oily with continuous use. My hair truly feels hydrated and I have noticed less breakage and split ends with heat styling.
Prior to using the Agave Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner, I was using WEN and the Alterna line which I've also had a really positive experience with.
Here are a few things to note about the Agave Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner:
- suitable for all hair types
- a little goes a long way- using too much (especially on finer hair) can make it greasy ( I use a quarter sized amount)
- it is not as viscous as some other shampoos and conditioners but it DOES lather nicely and rinses out quickly
- it has a pleasant coconut/vanilla scent
- I like to incorporate a clarifying shampoo once a week (I like Bumble and Bumble's Sunday Shampoo or TRESemme's Deep Cleansing Shampoo)
I also love that it is sulfate, paraben, and phthalate free. Because the Agave shampoo and conditioner is so gentle it will preserve hair color for those of you that color your hair frequently.
The shampoo and conditioner are accompanied by the Agave Treatment Oil. By far this has been the best hair oil I have tried- it doesn't make hair greasy or weigh it down. I like to use it every two weeks on the ends of my hair for deep treatment or after styling to add extra shine.
This line has 100% changed my hair and is my absolute favorite new hair product on the market.
